Dr. Lawrence earned her Bachelor of Science in Animal Science in 2017 before graduating from the University of California, Davis School of Veterinary Medicine in 2021. Following veterinary school, she served for five years in the U.S. Army as an Army veterinarian, where she developed a special appreciation for the care of working animals.
Dr. Lawrence has a particular passion for working with military working dogs, police K9s, and U.S. Border Patrol working dogs. Her professional interests also include surgery, diagnostic ultrasound, and pathology. She enjoys the challenges of veterinary medicine and is committed to providing compassionate, high-quality care while building trusting relationships with her patients and their families.
Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Lawrence enjoys running, swimming, and sailing with friends. She loves traveling, experiencing new places, and trying different types of food. She also enjoys spending time with her family in San Antonio and, of course, with her adorable orange tabby cat.
