Hello, my name is Beth and I am a CSR supervisor here at VCA Pacific Avenue Animal Hospital. I have never left Tacoma, I'm a true Pacific Northwest lover. Before VCA I worked at Pier 1 Imports as a manager for many years. I left the sales world to do what I have always wanted to do, work with pets. I have a deep love for all living things. When I started as a CSR about five years ago with the intent to work my way up to work in treatment with all of your animal friends. I quickly found out I enjoy working with the pets owners more. So, I decided to stay and move up as a CSR supervisor. This doesn't mean I won't give your pet snuggles as needed.
Currently I have three cats, Doozer, Cricket and Muffin. Doozer is my sweet boy that does no wrong. Cricket is my wild child that always keeps me on my toes. Muffin is a new addition to the family. Muffin showed up in our backyard with a bum eye, wounds on her back and a large hernia. I took her in to VCA and gave her the care she needed. We even removed the eye (pirate cat). She is now our sweet little girl. A quick shout out to my cat Quill and my dog Rocky. They are playing on the rainbow bridge together.
Working at Animal hospital is hard at times. But, I wouldn't change a thing. I have met some amazing people and pets working at VCA. Some have even turned into friendships. Seeing all the smiles on our clients and pet faces makes it all worth it.
