My name is Nicole. I am currently a referral coordinator at VCA Pacific Avenue Animal Hospital. My passion for animal care started as a young child. I have now been in the vet field since 2014. As I have grown in vet med my passion for client service in specialty and emergency care has blossomed. Right now, my position is geared towards scheduling specialty and surgical appointments. By scheduling these appointments, patients are receiving the medical care they need and clients receive the information and support they need as well. I am also responsible for communication with clients regarding afterlife services. Although these conversations can be challenging at times, it has helped me build trusting relationships with clients which has made me appreciate veterinary medicine even more. I have two pets of my own, Lilly, an 11-year-old calico and Loki, a 9-year-old Aussie (pictured). They are both my crazy sidekicks!
