Dr. Beck grew up in Austin Texas, nurturing a love for animals with his childhood dogs and volunteering at the Austin Nature and Science Center. He studied Biomedical Sciences at Texas A&M University, realizing a passion for medicine and serving others. While at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine, Dr. Beck focused his studies on small animal medicine, with particular areas of interest in dentistry, general surgery, and internal medicine. After graduating veterinary school, Dr. Beck practiced for a couple years in Houston before settling in Dallas.

After work, Dr. Beck likes to enjoy the outdoors with his wife Rachel and chase after his rambunctious cats, Mika and Riker.
