Dr. Emily Herring grew up in Weatherford, Texas. Like many veterinarians, her passion for animals began at a young age and her many childhood pets sparked Emily’s desire to devote her life to animal health. Dr. Herring earned her master’s degree in Biomedical Science from Texas A&M with an emphasis in neuroscience research. She then went on to complete her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

Dr. Herring’s professional interests include canine and feline Internal Medicine and Dermatology. She also, has an interest in caring for “pocket” pets. She shares her life with her husband and Dallas native, John, and their sons Samuel and Oliver. They added a wonderful addition to their family in 2017: a beautiful baby girl named Wynn.
