Dr. Madeline Frey is a 2023 graduate of the Carlson College of Veterinary Medicine at Oregon State University. She began working at VCA Salem as an assistant while she was a student and joined our doctor team after graduation. "While most of my time is spent in general practice appointments, I really enjoy performing soft tissue surgeries and dental procedures. I enjoy using a variety of instruments to achieve immediate tangible results. I'm always seeking chances to challenge myself and expand my abilities in the surgery and dental suites."
Although she has called the Pacific Northwest home since 2015, Dr. Frey is originally from Texas, where her family has lived for the last six generations. On days off, you can find Dr. Frey working up a sweat at the gym, hanging out with family while working on a garage or yard project, cuddling her cats while watching movies, reading a fantasy book, or planning the next game night.
Dr. Frey loves being part of an environment where everyone wants to learn more and grow as a team.
