A 2013 Oregon State University DVM graduate, Dr. Sarah Tremper joined the Salem practice in August of 2019, relocating from Sedona, Arizona. She grew up in El Paso, Texas and graduated from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff with a degree in Biology and Chemistry. 

Dr. Tremper is dedicated to general practice veterinary medicine. Her areas of interest are senior wellness, pain management, and preventive medicine. 

The love of the great outdoors drew her to Oregon. When not practicing vet medicine she and her husband, Ethan, may be found hiking, backpacking and paddleboarding. 

Prior to joining VCA Salem, Dr. Tremper and her husband spent a year traveling with their beloved senior golden retriever/ridgeback, Magpie, in their travel trailer. They dubbed the trip "Magpie's retirement" and were able to make many wonderful memories before Magpie crossed the Rainbow Bridge
