Amy found her calling in veterinary medicine as a receptionist at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital in 1992. She began managing hospitals in 1998 at VCA Parkwood and later, VCA A Breed Apart. She worked at Antech Diagnostics as VP of Client Services for many years and came back to managing hospitals in 2020. She's been at VCA Santa Margarita since September 2023. 

Amy has two amazing children: Lena, soon-to-be graduating with a Fine Arts degree in Animation, and Everett, a freshman at UCSB. She's been the proud mom of many cats and dogs over the years.

In her free time, she enjoys yoga and paddle boarding.
