Dr. Meghan Furey knew she wanted to be a veterinarian from the time she was four years old. She attended Penn State University for undergraduate studies then followed up earning her DVM from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine, with her clinical studies performed at University of Tennessee. In 2016, Dr. Furey returned to her home roots in eastern PA and started practicing small animal medicine. She loves all aspects of general practice, from puppy wellness to geriatric medicine, with extra interest in ultrasound and emergency care.
When not working, Dr. Furey is busy at home with her husband, Stephen, four young children, Teddy, Henry, Madeline, and Eleanor, and two senior dogs, Pancakes and Gypsy. She loves baking, entertaining, and reading.
