Kayla graduated from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo in 2023 with a B.S. in Animal Science and has always had a passion for working with animals. When she's not working, she enjoys spending time with her boyfriend and their golden doodle, Daisy, exploring local beaches and hiking trails with friends, and cooking! She also volunteers weekly at the Cal Poly Cat Program, helping to keep the shelter clean and socialize kitties, preparing them for adoption. Kayla also loves taking trips up north to Sonoma County to spend time with her family.
