A South Florida native and lifelong pet owner, Dr. Bairon A. Madrigal is deeply passionate about serving his local pet community through compassionate, collaborative, and individualized veterinary care.
Dr. Madrigal earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Kansas State University College of Veterinary Medicine, where he also received an honorary certificate in Exotic and Zoo Animal Medicine. He holds a Master of Science in Infectious Disease and Global Health from Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine and completed a Bachelor of Science double major in Biology and Marine Biology at Nova Southeastern University in Davie, Florida.
Dr. Madrigal's special interests include avian and exotic species medicine, internal medicine, and preventive care. His passion lies in strengthening the human-animal bond, guided by the belief that pets are family.
Beyond the hospital, Dr. Madrigal enjoys SCUBA diving, hiking with his dogs, caring for his garden, and maintaining his reef aquarium as an avid aquarist. At home, he shares his life with three dogs, four cats, four ferrets, two prairie dogs, a Galah cockatoo, an axolotl, two geese, six chickens, and forty-two ducks—a household that ensures he never truly leaves work, and wouldn't have it any other way.
