Dr Raa is a New Jersey born native. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine in 2019 and completed her clinical year at Oklahoma State University. After, she completed a specialty internship in exotic animal surgery and medicine at Long Island Bird and Exotics. Dr. Raa has dedicated her career to providing exceptional care for dogs, cats, and exotic animals throughout the U.S. Most recently, she was the veterinarian for Thompson Park Zoo, taking care of the zoo's diverse collection. She has focused her veterinary career on working with exotics, wildlife and zoo medicine, but still enjoys her dog and cat patients. Dr. Raa's professional interests are internal medicine, surgery and emergency medicine. When not at the office, Dr. Raa loves spending quality time with her family and her pets.
