VCA Spooner Veterinary Hospital
Allen Pederson
Staff Veterinarian
DVM
I originally started working at Spooner Veterinary Clinic in April of 1992. I graduated with my Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from the University of Minnesota in 1987. I was inspired to choose the veterinary field from my calling to help animals. I was from the area and was happy to work close to home. What I enjoy most about my job is seeing a sick or injured animal get better. My special interests include dentistry. I feel that my patience with animals is what makes me good at my job. My pets include Elle, a 3-year-old mixed breed dog, Artimus, a 13-year-old domestic short hair cat, and Cat, a 7-year-old domestic short hair cat. Outside of work my hobbies include backpacking, hiking, running, and home care. I am currently involved with the following organizations: AVMA, MVMA, WVMA, NWWVMA, and CVM.
