Leslie Meadows, Associate Veterinarian

Dr. Meadows was born and raised in Vienna, Virginia. She received her undergraduate degree from Virginia Tech and Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Virginia-Maryland Regional College of Veterinary Medicine. Dr. Meadows joined VCA St. Mary's Animal Hospital in 2007.

Dr. Meadows has a special interest in both feline and canine Internal Medicine and Surgery. Dr. Meadows enjoys advanced training and education in ultrasonography.

During spare time, Dr. Meadows enjoys spending time with her pets, a timid Border Collie named Chicken, a sassy cat named Noodle and a disobedient but very cute Beagle named Bean. She is also a sports fan and is a supporter of the Washington Redskins and enjoys spending time with her husband Scott and daughters Lillian and Evelyn. Why I joined the Veterinary field: As a small child I knew I wanted to work with animals. In elementary school, I wanted to be a dog trainer in the circus. As I grew older, I suspected this may not be the easiest career goal to ascertain, so I set my sights on veterinary medicine. I enjoy working with dogs and cats and I particularly enjoy puppy/kitten visits! Ultrasonography is the part of my job I find most exciting. My primary goal as a veterinarian is to instill trust in both my patients and clients so that I can provide the best possible care and receive the best possible outcomes. In my free time I hang out with my family (furry and two legged), watch football (Go Redskins!), and spend a considerable amount of time fretting over my patients.
