DVM
Dr. Caroline Dewey originally grew up in Cincinnati, Ohio until she attended the University of South Carolina for her undergraduate studies, earning her Bachelor's of Science in Biology in 2016. She then studied at Lincoln Memorial University College of Veterinary Medicine and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2020. After graduation, she completed a mentorship at a small animal practice in Monroe, NC. While there, Dr. Dewey learned to build on her special interests including behavioral training, allergies and dermatology, and nutrition.
One of Dr. Dewey's passions is caring for exotic and zoo wildlife in her free time. Dr. Dewey has traveled with a wildlife veterinarian team to South Africa to care for lions, antelope, and helping prevent rhinos from poaching. Dr. Dewey and her husband, Sean, currently live in Matthews with their two mischievous cats, Leo and Apollo, and their rescue mutt, Cosmo. When not at work, Dr. Dewey loves to cuddle up with her animals and explore new restaurants around the city.
