Amy attended school at the Colorado Academy of Veterinary Technology in Colorado Springs, CO. She loves the constant challenges in the veterinary medicine field. Each day and every patient is different, which requires her to be adaptable to each situation and tap into her problem-solving skills on a daily basis. Boring is not in her job description!
At home, she has two dogs (a Boxer/Jack Russell mix, Buddy, and a Doodle, Cosmo), a black cat (Thackery Binx), as well as two guinea pigs (Hamlet and Doc Brown). In her free time, she enjoys walks with the dogs and her husband, reading, and going to see live music.
