Amanda is a 2009 graduate from Michigan State University with a Bachelor's degree in Veterinary Technology. She has been with VCA Swartz Creek since the spring of 2010. Amanda's current role is providing remote daily assistance to the hospital and team, with occasional on-site help. Her former positions were Hospital Manager and Lead Veterinary Technologist. Amanda's passions are in surgery, anesthesia, and management, but she can be found helping out in all areas of the practice. Amanda grew up in Byron and now resides in Durand with her loving husband and three adorable sons.

Her pets include, 2 dogs, a cat, and many fish and chickens. When not working she can be found caring for her family, helping out at her children's school and activities, camping, reading, and spending time outside.
