At VCA University Animal Hospital, we help pets live long, healthy and happy lives. We deliver the best medical care for pets and the best experience for pet owners.

Our veterinarians, technicians and other pet-friendly support staff are trained to the highest standards. Their thorough knowledge of the latest procedures and medications ensures that all our patients receive the best in preventive and healing care.

Our hospital has been helping local families and their beloved pets since 1962.

VCA University Animal Hospital is the second oldest veterinary practice in the East Valley. We are a vet clinic conveniently located in Tempe near the ASU campus and close to the I-10 and Loop-202 Freeways. We provide vet services to the surrounding areas including: Chandler, Gilbert, Scottsdale, Mesa, and the Phoenix Metro area.

Our veterinary hospital provides various surgical/medical services along with care for exotic pets as well as pocket pets. We offer: preventive wellness and illness care, early disease detection and vaccines, parasite control, boarding, internal medicine, ultrasound, spay and neuters, dentistry, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, laparoscopy, micro-chipping as well as Home Delivery for food and medication and CareClub. We also offer climate controlled cat and dog boarding on site and medical boarding that provides specialized care for your cat or dog.

CareClub is our comprehensive wellness plans for pets of all ages and includes unlimited exams and customizable options that fits the needs of each individual pet with easy affordable monthly payments.

We also carry a variety of pet foods such as Hill's and Royal Canin Prescription Diets.
