Dr. Katrina Cusack obtained her degree in veterinary medicine from University College of Dublin (Ireland) in 2014. After veterinary school, she went on to complete a one year rotating internship in small animal medicine and surgery, as well as a one year internal medicine internship at VCA Newark Animal Hospital. After her internships, she worked as an emergency doctor at VCA Newark for one year. She completed her residency in Cardiology at Texas A&M University prior to moving back to the northeast.

Her special interests include complex congenital heart disease, interventional therapies, and management of complex arrhythmias. She is originally from New Jersey, and is happy to be back close to her family! Dr. Cusack enjoys traveling abroad, reading, going to the beach, and spending time at home with her family.
