Anaiah was born in Hollister and raised in the small town of Selma in the Central Valley. She currently resides in Marina - just a short trip away from our hospital in Salinas.
Anaiah joined the VCA All Pets Salinas team in 2020 as an animal care assistant. Since then, she has become cross-trained as a veterinary assistant, client service representative, and pharmacist. Today, Anaiah is our pharmacy lead and spends much of her time processing and filling prescription requests and assisting with controlled-substance reporting. She is also our Home Delivery champion; she helps our clients save time and money by enrolling in Home Delivery/Never Forget auto-ship programs, so they can have their prescriptions shipped directly to their homes. She is always eager to assist with feline blood draws, satisfying ear plucks, and any French bulldog patient that walks through our front doors. Anaiah is gentle, methodical, and detail-oriented, always going above and beyond to ensure all of our patients receive the special attention they deserve.
Before working at our hospital, Anaiah worked at a squid packing plant and in state park maintenance. She has a French bulldog named Whiskey and a cat named Chloe. Anaiah loves flowers and enjoys creating floral arrangements for her family and friends. She likes going camping and off-roading in the dunes, spending time visiting with her family, and attending EDM music festivals. On the weekends, you can find Anaiah relaxing in the sun, going to the beach or the lake, helping her boyfriend work on his trucks, and traveling with her family.
One of Anaiah's favorite parts about working at VCA All Pets Salinas is that not every day is the same; the variety of patients mixed with wellness, urgent care, and emergency cases makes every shift exciting and different. She loves that she gets to make a difference in patients' lives, provide our clients with knowledge about their pets, and learn new things with each passing day.
