Dr. Mix has been working in the veterinary field since 1984. She has an associate's degree in Chemistry, a bachelor's degree in Biology from San Diego State, and her Veterinary Medicine Degree from Oklahoma State University. She joined VCA in 2011 as a Medical Director in Las Vegas and then moved her family to Omaha in 2013. In 2015, she became Medical Director at VCA AMC of Omaha.
In her spare time, she loves to walk her dog Daisey and whenever she can, she spends time with her two kids who are now in college. Dr. Mix cares for her many plants and loves to grow and care for her roses. She is very passionate about helping people care for their pets and loves to help them stay happy and healthy.
