Dr. Sherrill is one of our associate veterinarians. She grew up in Sioux City, IA. Dr. Sherrill earned a Bachelor of Science in Zoology at Iowa State University. She went on to Iowa State College of Veterinary Medicine where she graduated with Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2008.

Dr. Sherrill earned a place as a VCA intern for the 2008-2009 intern year. While there she specialized in Emergency Medicine and Surgery. During her internship she worked at VCA Berwyn Animal Hospital which was a 24 hours facility that handled both general practice and emergency medicine as well as VCA Aurora Animal Hospital. After completing her intern year, Dr. Sherrill moved to Omaha and joined VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha. What drives her career is being able to help animals when they are in need. She loves keeping pets healthy through proactive wellness and the highest quality medicine.

Dr. Sherrill lives just outside of Omaha on a large acreage that she and her husband own. They have 5 pets: Shae (Boston Terrier), Titan (Cockapoo), Emma (Aussie/Hound Mix), Maize (Cat) and Gracie (Horse). Additionally, Dr. Sherrill raises chickens. When she is not working she enjoys outdoor activities and horseback riding.
