Dr. Keith Halsey's career with VCA Animal Medical Center of Omaha began long before be was a Veterinarian. As a young man Dr. Halsey worked as a Kennel Assist in the very hospital he now practices.
Dr. Halsey earned a Bachelor of Science at the University of Nebraska at Lincoln in 1994. He went on to Kansas State College of Veterinary Medicine where he graduated with Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 1998. He love his career choice because he has the ability to improve the quality and longevity of pets lives. He enjoys the variety of cases from day to day.
When Dr. Halsey is not working he can be found golfing or acting as a chauffeur driving his 5 children to their various activities including gymnastics, diving, and ice skating.
The Halsey Family not only has five children they also have five pets! They have three cats Trooper, Sally, "O" and two dogs Tucker (Golden Retriever) and Walter (Wirehaired Dachshund).
