Dr. Ghanasyam Bey is from Cleveland, Ohio, and attended Princeton University for undergraduate studies. After a year of biology research at Duke University, he attended The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2015. With a goal to pursue a specialty in veterinary cardiology, following veterinary school, he completed multiple 1-year specialty training programs. These included internal medicine and cardiology. Ultimately, he elected to accept a position as a full-time emergency small animal veterinarian with VCA Animal Specialty Group. During a typical day, he sees a variety of cases ranging from mild limping or upset stomach to critical trauma or serious allergic reactions, even rattlesnake envenomation.
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Bey has two cats named Maximus and Roma. He enjoys fitness, music, film, and travel. He also loves exploring the outdoors, especially the beautiful coastline of Southern California.
