Dr. Jackson received an undergraduate degree in biology from the University of San Diego in 2001. After working as a veterinary technician in San Diego, he returned to school, receiving a DVM degree from Kansas State University in 2006. He completed a rotating internship in small animal emergency/critical care, internal medicine and surgery at the Pet Emergency & Specialty Center in La Mesa, and a surgical internship and residency at the Animal Specialty Group in Los Angeles. Dr. Jackson became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Surgeons in 2012. His surgical interests include fracture repair, joint replacement, arthroscopy and minimally invasive surgery.
