Dr. Seth Wegner grew up in Del Mar, attending The Bishop's School in La Jolla before receiving a BS in Neuroscience with Honors at University of California, Santa Cruz. Dr. Wegner then earned his MS and DVM degrees from the University of California, Davis in 2011. Following graduation from veterinary school, Dr. Wegner completed an internship at Loomis Basin Veterinary Clinic in Northern California where he focused on emergency medicine and surgery. Dr. Wegner joined VCA Animal Specialty Group in July 2015 and later became Chief of Emergency Services and ultimately, Medical Director. Dr. Wegner also has special interests in imaging, working to establish ASG's advanced imaging department. When not at the clinic, Dr. Wegner is surfing or spending time with his wife, their three children and their golden retriever, Twinkie.
