Dr. Rachel Ng was raised in Orange County, CA. She graduated from UCLA with a degree in microbiology, immunology, and molecular genetics in 2013. She then attended UC Davis school of Veterinary Medicine, graduating as a member of the honors society in 2017. To further her education and experience, she went on to complete a rotating internship at VCA Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, VCA Shoreline Veterinary Referral and Emergency Center, and VCA Darien in Connecticut. She enjoyed emergency medicine so much that she has remained in the field ever since! After three years of working as an emergency veterinarian in Connecticut, she returned home to continue her passion for learning in beautiful southern California.

Dr. Ng loves the challenge of emergency medicine, and has a particular interest in treating cases of toxin exposure and acute trauma. Outside of work, she loves to travel around the world, hike, sing karaoke, and taste test local cuisine. She shares her home with her wonderful husband, Ron, and their beloved pups, Bowie and Harper.
