Brett Harling

Veterinary Specialist

DVM, Residency Trained in Internal Medicine

Dr. Harling is a Florida native and completed his Bachelor of Animal Sciences as a gator at the University of Florida. He obtained his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at St. George's University, completing with a clinical year at The Ohio State University. He then completed a small animal rotating medicine and surgery internship at The Animal Medical Center (AMC) in New York City, a specialty internal medicine internship at Animal Specialty Group in LA, a one-year program specializing in minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures with the AMC Interventional Radiology and Endoscopy service, and three-year Internal Medicine residency at AMC.

His veterinary passions lie in tailoring specific comprehensive plans for multisystemic disease states (advanced urinary, respiratory, liver, gastrointestinal and endocrine cases) and performing endoscopic and/or minimally invasive procedures to best suite patients with advanced conditions. In free time, Dr. Harling enjoys playing tennis, pickleball and golf, traveling and hiking outdoors and most of all spending time with his family (wife Emily, son Phillip, Frenchie Kobe, Swissy Turtle, Orange tabby Tommy, and Beta Fish Dom).
