Originally from Gujarat, India, Dr. Gurjar moved to the United States at the age of four and has called Florida home ever since. She earned a Bachelor of Science in biology from Florida Atlantic University, where she discovered a deep passion for veterinary medicine during a summer sea turtle research course. This led her to pursue a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree at Louisiana State University.
Dr. Gurjar has a particular interest in shelter medicine and surgery, and we are confident that her expertise and dedication will make a positive impact on both our team and the animals we care for. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her 11-year-old basset hound mix, Gambino, whom she loves to skateboard with. Dr. Gurjar also enjoys painting, volunteering at her local Hindu temple, and playing the ukulele.
