Jackie moved from Northern California to Phoenix in 2008 and began her career in animal care—a field she'd been passionate about since she was a little girl, always surrounded by animals. She's worked in general practice, oncology, and emergency care for animals, gaining a broad range of experience. In 2015, she met her husband, who's from the White Mountains, and eventually relocated up north to be with him. After spending some time there, they decided to make the move to Tucson, Arizona. Throughout these experiences, her love for animal care has only deepened.
Jackie also has a stepson whose baseball career they actively support. Outside of work and family, she's an avid traveler, a beach lover, and enjoys following sports. Her two rescue dogs play a significant role in her life and are a constant reminder of her commitment to animal welfare. She and her husband also love going on Harley rides, which is a great way to enjoy the open road together. Jackie especially enjoys the fall in the Arizona mountains, with its crisp air and breathtaking scenery. She loves watching sunrises and sunsets, taking in the beauty of nature every chance she gets. In the summer, you'll most likely find her poolside more than anything else.
She is always seeking opportunities to grow both personally and professionally, particularly in areas that combine her passion for animals with leadership or business development. Jackie has been with VCA Civano Animal Hospital & Emergency Center since July 2021, and has enjoyed every minute of it.
