She later received a Master's in Public Health from Capella University in 2014. Her career spans from emergency medicine and general practice to shelter medicine and veterinary technician instruction. Her hobbies include puzzles, karaoke, and outdoor activities with her kids and two Chihuahua pups named Lolita and Violet.
