Dr. Holley Crooks grew up in Phoenix, Arizona, but spent her summers visiting family in Hood River, Oregon. She knew from an early age that she loved the Pacific Northwest and wanted to call it home. Dr. Crooks attended Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff, Arizona where she met her husband. After graduating, she went on to Washington State University in Pullman, Washington where she earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree in 2007. Since then, she has lived and worked in Vancouver, Washington. She enjoys being a veterinarian because no two days are the same and every day is an opportunity to strengthen the human-animal bond. Some of her favorite breeds are Chihuahuas and pit bulls.
Dr. Crooks is also a hot yoga instructor and teaches classes locally. She has a pack of several dogs and several cats, ruled by a cranky Chihuahua named Fava and a scruffy gray and white tuxedo cat named NinjaMittens.
Dr. Holley Crooks has been with VCA East Mill Plain Animal Hospital since August of 2024!
