Dr. Moore has worked at VCA East Mill Plain since 2018. When she started it immediately felt like family, and now with the pandemic it feels like that was a lifetime ago!

Dr. Moore has been working at vet hospitals and with animals since she was 17 years old. She is a California transplant who graduated from the University of California at Berkeley, and then got her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from the University of California at Davis in 2011. In vet school, she worked directly with Veterinary Behaviorists as president of the Behavior Medicine Club to better understand and interact with pets, as well decrease their stress level for an overall better quality of life with their human companions.

She worked for many years at a VCA in the Bay Area, seeing small animals and exotics and forming bonds with clients and animals alike. Her current adopted family includes a sassy African Grey Parrot (Lola), a gorgeous kitty cat (Minette), and her dog daughter, Tallulah the Pomeranian.

Dr. Moore is an active member of the Portland Veterinary Medical Association (PVMA) and its Power of 10, helping to mentor newer veterinarians to the area.

When not in the hospital, she likes to explore the Pacific Northwest with Tallulah in tow by hiking, kayaking, and savoring the amazing variety of restaurants and fermented drinks (during non-COVID times!). While sheltering in place, she has focused on home projects including building a deck with her dad.
