Dr. Lexie Haley grew up in the Syracuse, NY area. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Canisius College in Buffalo, NY in 2016. Afterward, she attended Cornell University in Ithaca, NY, where she received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine in 2025. Dr. Haley has been part of the Fairmount Animal Hospital team since 2018, working in various roles such as veterinary assistant, kennel attendant, and client care representative, before becoming an associate veterinarian in 2025.
Dr. Haley's favorite part of her job is building strong relationships with both pets and their owners to create personalized treatment plans. She has a particular interest in internal medicine and emergency care, and she is passionate about improving access to veterinary care.
Outside of work, Dr. Haley enjoys spending time at her family's lake house north of Syracuse, where she loves swimming, boating, and other water activities. She also has a deep love for traveling, especially to beach destinations by the ocean. At home, she shares her life with two cats, Queso and Margarita, and a Yorkie mix dog named Chimichanga.
