Christine Petrovec, Staff Veterinarian

DVM

Dr. Christine Petrovec was born and raised in San Jose, California, and began her veterinary career working with companion animals at age 16. She obtained her B.S. in Physiology in 2011 and went on to complete an M.S. in Reproductive Physiology in 2013, both at San Jose State University. She then moved to Fort Collins to attend Colorado State University and obtained her DVM degree in 2019.

After graduation, Dr. Christine completed an internal medicine and emergency medicine rotating internship in Boulder, CO. Following her internship, she continued to work with companion animals in Fort Collins, focusing on her interests in internal medicine and urgent care.

Outside of veterinary medicine, Dr. Christine enjoys spending family time with her husband and two daughters, but also enjoys quality time with her three English Bulldogs and her Shar-pei, Shumai
