Dr. English brings to bear a broad range of veterinary experience developed through field medicine in rural environments, intensive surgical experience in animal shelters, and years of general practice. She is driven to practice the full art of veterinary medicine: combining quality science with a gentle and compassionate approach to provide the best care for pets and their families. Dr. English grew up in Virginia and completed her BA in English Literature at the University of Virginia. She made Colorado her home in 2006 and earned her MS and DVM at Colorado State University. She completed an internship and worked as a staff veterinarian at Denver Dumb Friends League until joining the VCA family in 2016. After four great years at VCA Southeast Area Animal Hospital in Denver, Dr. English is excited to come home to Fort Collins. When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two daughters, and dog, Maks.
