Dr. Jordanne Diaz was born and raised in El Paso, Texas. For her undergraduate studies she attended West Texas A&M in Canyon, Texas and received a bachelor's degree in Animal Science. Prior to applying for veterinary school, Dr. Diaz worked as a technician in small animal practices in order to gain experience for her future career.

In 2015, she applied to veterinary school and moved to Arizona to start her dream of becoming a veterinarian. Dr. Diaz received her Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Midwestern University in Glendale, Arizona. While in school, she focused on the human-animal bond and patient centered care in order to help clients and families feel comfortable and confident in order to make the best decision for their animal companions. 

Dr. Diaz enjoys treating cats and dogs and eventually wants to see more exotic patients. She enjoys activities outdoors, watching Netflix on her couch, two-stepping and is an avid taco lover. She and her husband have 2 chocolate labs (Nanuk and Dennis). 

Dr. Diaz is excited to be part of the Hometown team and can't wait to start seeing your furry family members!
