Dr. Dawsey is a versatile and accomplished veterinarian with a diverse background in conventional Western medicine and alternative healing arts. Born and raised in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, he attended Louisiana State University during his undergraduate studies and earned his Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree (DVM) from the Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine.
After graduating, Dr. Dawsey relocated to Las Vegas, where he launched his career in veterinary medicine. Throughout his career, he has held various roles, including Associate Veterinarian, Adjunct Professor, Aquarium Veterinarian, Consultant, Mobile Veterinarian, Relief Veterinarian, and Medical Director.
In addition to his conventional Western training, Dr. Dawsey has pursued extensive studies in spirituality and alternative healing practices, including Reiki, Siwa Murti, and sound therapy, which can nurture the well-being of both people and animals.
Outside the hospital, Dr. Dawsey spends his time using those alternative healing methods to guide people toward emotional and spiritual well-being. If he's not in session, you can find him practicing instruments from his global collection, taking his dog on a road trip, or planning his next adventure.
