Dr. Bowman is excited to be working with the excellent team at Iselin Animal Hospital as their medical director. Originally, from Ocean Township, she spent 17 years moving from New York to Massachusetts to Florida and Virginia before finally deciding to come home. She is a 2010 graduate of the Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine at Tufts University. Following five years in equine practice, including a residency and board certification in internal medicine, she decided to make the transition to small animal practice and has not looked back since. Her areas of particular interest include internal medicine, geriatric care and acupuncture.
She currently lives in Millstone Township with her husband, David, and their daughter, Emma; four amazing dogs—Raya, Asher, Maitilde, and Linda; three cats—Hank, Churro, and Banana Split; and three horses—Hugo, Ryder and Lily. In her spare time, she enjoys running marathons, riding and showing her horses, and spending time close to the ocean.
