Born in Miami and raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Amanda started volunteering at animal hospitals and eventually moved into the field as a veterinary assistant and she is now VCA Lakeside's Hospital Staff Coordinator and LVTIT. Amanda has been a part of VCA Lakeside from the beginning in 2015 and she is very close to becoming a Licensed Veterinary Technician. In addition to assisting our veterinarians, Amanda especially enjoys surgeries, anesthesia, and dentistry. Amanda has a passion for healing animals and helping pet owners.

Amanda is well-traveled, having visited over 20 countries and most of the United States. When not skiing, hiking and attending concerts, Amanda spends her free time with her husband, two dogs, and cats.
