Born in Miami but raised in Lexington, Kentucky, Amanda started volunteering at animal hospitals and eventually moved into the field as a veterinary assistant and is now a licensed veterinary technician. In addition to assisting our veterinarians, Amanda especially enjoys surgeries and emergency medicine. Amanda has a strong interest in healing animals but she is also passionate about wildlife conservation and national park preservation programs. Amanda is well-traveled, having visited eight countries in three different continents, as well as over 35 states. When not skiing, hiking and attending concerts, Amanda spends her free time with multiple cats, two dogs and oh yes, a husband and young son.
