Layla joined VCA Lakeside in 2026 and is a licensed veterinary technician in training. She holds a bachelor’s degree in agricultural science from the University of Nevada, Reno. She enjoys helping animals and educating owners. Her goal is to attend veterinary school and specialize in bovine and swine care. Layla enjoys bull riding, spending time outdoors, hunting, fishing, line dancing, and spending time with her family. She is the guardian of Mouse-A-Roni Cheese, a domestic shorthair (DSH) cat; Whiskey, a German shepherd; and Karma, a terrier mix.
