Dr. Granite joined us in 2019 as an associate ER doctor after gaining some experience at a couple of other hospitals. She completed her undergraduate degree at Saint Mary's College and her DVM at The Ohio State University (shhh…don't tell her kids). When not helping lead the hospital as medical director, she enjoys spending time with her three kids, two dogs (Lou and Corby), reading the latest novel, and keeping fit with Pilates.
Dr. Granite feels emergency medicine was her calling, and she utilizes that time to build relationships with clients and patients. She’s passionate about continuing her education, advancing the level of medicine we provide at VCA Metzger, and growing her own skills. Most recently, she's gained experience with laparoscopic procedures!
