Dr. Parks joined us in 2020. She pursued an undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona and a DVM at The Ohio State University. When not practicing emergency medicine here at VCA Metzger, she enjoys spending time with her pugs, Phoebe and Dora; her cats, Sewki and Rubi; and Caramel, her rabbit, while keeping a stockpile of eggs from all her chickens. When not cuddling with her pets, Dr. Parks can be found spending time with her husband and daughter, reading a good book, crafting, and cooking. When the weather supports it, you can find her outside swimming.
Dr. Parks truly enjoys emergency medicine. She is RECOVER CPR and Fear Free Certified and also a member of VECCS. Aside from her love of practicing emergency medicine, she appreciates how our hospital functions as a team and delivers the very best care. We see some of the most complicated cases here, and collaboration with peers really sets us apart.
