Dr. Jeff Poulsen joined our team in 2020 and the biggest attribute he brings to our hospital is his calming presence. This comes from his years of experience working in emergency veterinary medicine. Prior to becoming a veterinarian, he was a veterinary technician for 5 years, which helps him relate to all team members. Dr. Poulsen completed veterinary school at Texas A&M University in May 2012. Additionally, Dr. Poulsen serves in the United States Army Reserve as a Veterinary Corps Officer and is in high demand between his clients, military and let's not forget about his four children who require his attention.

His passion is orthopedics and emergency medicine, his favorite surgery is the TPLO surgery. He takes great pride when he can get his patient mobile again. With a few moments to spare you may catch him on the trails with his mountain bike. We are fortunate to have his expertise on our team.
