Dr. Karalyn Young found her calling to veterinary medicine while caring for injured coastal wildlife in Southern California. She attended Brown University and received her Bachelor of Science with Honors in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology in 2006. She continued her education at Tufts University Cummings School of Veterinary Medicine, receiving her doctorate in 2010.
