Dr. Hank grew up in the suburbs of Chicago before attending University of South Carolina for a BS in biology. She worked in wildlife rehabilitation for a year before attending veterinary school at Kansas State University where she discovered her love of surgery.
Dr. Hank then completed a one year small animal medicine and surgery rotating internship at BluePearl in Tampa, FL. She will be furthering her surgical training as a specialty surgery intern with our hospital for the next year.
Outside of work, Dr. Hank enjoys reading, pottery, spending time at the beach, and kayaking. Her fiancé is also a veterinarian and together they have three cats, two rabbits, a pigeon, snakes, turtles, tortoises, and frogs!
