Dr. Valerie Morales Coll was born and raised in Puerto Rico. She earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Ross University School of Veterinary Medicine and completed her clinical year at Colorado State University. Following veterinary school, she completed a rotating internship at Southern Arizona Veterinary Specialty and Emergency Center in Tucson, AZ. She then went on to complete a three-year residency in Radiation Oncology at the University of Missouri.
As a veterinary radiation oncologist, Dr. Morales strives to combine advanced medical training with genuine compassion. Her mission is simple: to give families more quality time with their pets. Her favorite part of her day to day is working closely with pet owners and referring veterinarians to create personalized treatment plans that are not only effective but also mindful of each pet's comfort. "I want to fight for the moments that matter, and to treat each patient as if they were part of my own family"
Outside of the hospital, Dr. Morales enjoys spending her free time outdoors with her horse and her dog or taking a quick trip home to spend time with her family.
