Dr. Rocha is originally from Brazil and earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Paraná. She later completed the ECFVG Certification Program, allowing her to obtain veterinary licensure in the United States.
Prior to joining VCA Palm Beach Veterinary Specialists, Dr. Rocha worked as a general practitioner at VCA Wiles Road Animal Hospital. Her diverse international experience also includes owning and operating a pet store in Brazil and working as a veterinary technician in Australia at a mixed-animal practice caring for dogs, cats, and exotic species.
Dr. Rocha's professional interests include feline and exotic animal medicine, as well as diagnostic imaging.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her husband, Alex, their children, and their two rescue cats.
