Danielle Tam

Hospital Manager

Danielle was born and raised in Hong Kong and has worked with both large and small animals her whole life. She moved to California for college and graduated from the University of California, Davis, with a bachelor's in Animal Science in 2020. After graduation, Danielle worked as a Veterinary Assistant in private practice and transitioned into a management role. On the side, she was a part-time in-home dog trainer, where she worked specifically with fearful and reactive dogs.

With family living closer to the Bay Area, she decided to relocate and joined the VCA Palo Alto team as the Hospital Manager in 2022. In 2025, Danielle decided to go back to school and received her Master's in Animal Biology. She hopes to use her skillset to enhance the hospital environment and build long-lasting relationships with clients and their pets.

She does not have any pets but frequently fosters with the SF SPCA. When she is not at the hospital, you can often find her doing exciting activities like indoor bouldering or trying new local food spots.
