Dr. Christy C. Soileau, our medical director, is originally from Lafayette, Louisiana. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Louisiana at Lafayette with a bachelor's degree in Animal Science in May 2002. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from Louisiana State University School of Veterinary Medicine. Dr Soileau moved to the Dallas area in 2006 and started her veterinary career at VCA Preston Park Animal Hospital. She absolutely loves this area and the amazing clientele she has served over the past 19 years. She enjoys forming lifelong bonds with her patients and clients and leading the amazing VCA Preston Park team. Her medical interests include internal medicine and preventative medicine, and she has a passion for treating Greyhound Adoption League of Texas (GALT) rescue pets.
Outside the office, Dr Soileau enjoys spending time with her husband Mac, and her two sons, Henry and Luke. The boys keep her busy with all their school and extracurricular activities, but they also enjoy spending time outdoors, hiking with their dogs, Rosie and Kylie.
